Using the Jokes

The jokes found on this site were sent to me through e-mail, found on message boards, newsgroups, or other web sites, and are to be considered Public Domain unless otherwise noted.

You may use these jokes without restriction, for your personal or commercial use.

However, the collection of jokes as a whole is to be considered copyrighted material. You may not copy a significant number of these jokes to publish on your own web site, or other media. Copying a few jokes to use on your web site, newsletter, book, TV show, etc, is fine.

This is similar to dictionaries, for example. While you are free to use any word you find in the dictionary for any reason, you cant copy the entire dictionary and release it as your own.

More or less, this means you can use the jokes any way you want, just don't copy all of them for your own web site.
